Living Room

The project, named Modern Minimalist Living Room, is focused on redesigning a downtown apartment’s living room to achieve a modern, functional aesthetic. The goal is to create a space that feels open, inviting, and reflective of minimalist design principles. The client’s preference for neutral tones, natural light, and smart storage solutions guided the overall concept.

The design embraces a neutral color palette of white, beige, and soft gray, complemented by materials like wood, glass, and metal. The layout features an open concept with distinct zones for seating, entertainment, and decor. A cream-colored L-shaped sectional anchors the seating area, accompanied by a glass-top coffee table and two minimalist gray accent chairs.

Lighting plays a crucial role, combining recessed ceiling lights, a sleek metallic floor lamp, and LED strips under shelving for ambient illumination. Decor elements include abstract wall art, a large geometric-patterned area rug, and a potted fiddle-leaf fig to add a touch of greenery.

Storage is seamlessly integrated with a wall-mounted media console, floating wooden shelves, and a multi-use ottoman with hidden compartments. The project is planned over four weeks, covering painting, flooring, furniture placement, and final decor touches.
